1938/9 Migrated to Ukraine but later returned to Warsaw. Hid with a couple who had a son until they were found and were told to leave by morning. Moved to another hiding with a single woman across from the Warsaw ghetto. 

1941

Pogrom in Yassi. Jehuda loses a few close relatives. Through a bribery of a high police officer the family managed to buy their freedom. Solo is forced to give up 50% of his business to his accountant Nicolai Rotzia. The Jews are thrown out of public schools and create schools in local synagogues

1943During the Warsaw Ghetto uprising Rivka and Lea had to leave and a villager smuggled them in a hay wagon to his village. One night, Uziel managed to jump from a train and join the rest of the family for a day but as he was wounded he was transferred to a hospital in the Tarnow ghetto and they joined him in the ghetto. Rivka worked in a textile factory and sewed. She took Lea to work with her everyday under her coat.  When the Tarnow Ghetto was liquidated, Rivka moves to Warsaw and Lea stayed with a local woman until the money she receives for being with Lea stops and then joins Riivka in Warsaw. When the Russians start bombing Warsaw they again have to leave and by coincidence joined the local Partisans as where Rivka was a cook. 

1944
The Russians are at the border bombing the area. Jehudas family rents a vegetable truck and hide in the truck and move to Bucharest, where Solo opens a similar business. 

1945Return to Zywiec. Their building was all occupied by Poles that took over the property and all that was left was their servants apartment which they slept in. They succeeded in contacting relatives in Losan, Switzerland (Frida Adou). As a result, they began to get packages from family in the U.S. (Gustav Lefler, Gretta and Otto Lefler). They received food and tennis balls, which they sold for a lot of money.

1946After exhausting the efforts to migrate to the U.S. they moved to Losan, Switzerland. Lea studied to be a kindergarten teacher. 

1949Moved to Israel and lived with Uziel’s brother (Yossef Balicer) in Givat Shmuel. Few years later, Lea and Jehuda, purchased the house from him. Lea started ulpan where she met Francis Rosentzweig (Jehuda’s cousin) who later introduced the two. Lea later studied in Seminar Levinsky (early childhood education). 

1950Rivka opens a child daycare in their home in Givat Shmuel. Graduates High School. Went to two High Schools. One was called Coltura and the second Michael Immanesku. 

1951
Jehuda moves to israel on his own (where exactly??) and meets Lea. Jehuda joins the army in the Communications Unit in the Sarafan Base in Tzrifin. 

1952Lea joins the army in the Intelligence Unit in Kfar Saba. She was a secretary. 

1954Leaves the army and marries Jehuda! They got married in Vaad Lemaan HaChayal (וועד למען חייל) in Jaffa. Lea continues to work as a citizen in the army doing the same job she did when she was a soldier. Jehuda is released from the army and marries Lea! Continues to work for the army as a citizen until 1960. Starts studying in  the Jerusalem University Branch in Tel Aviv (Today it is Tel Aviv University). He studied Political Science and Economics. 

1958First child Uzi was born. Lea starts to work in Tzamrit (צמרית) which was a Yarn store in Frishman St, Tel Aviv. Graduates with a B.A. 

1960Moved to Amal St 22, Givatayim. Second child, Roni was born. Jehuda joins the ש.ב (Maybe the Mossad or Shabak) until 1964. 

1961/2Lea opens a yarn shop of her own in Modein (Ben Gurion) St, corner of HaRoeh St., Ramat Gan. 

1964
Joins the Israeli Aerospace Industry in the organization and methods department. There he studies the first programming course  in Israel and participates in assimilating and implementing the first computer in Israel in Mamram.    

1970Third child, Michael, was born. Moved to Ramat Ephal.
1972
Jehuda is transferred to the Ministry of Defense as the head of the computer department. 
1976
Jehuda is sent from the Ministry of Defense to New York as the head of the computer department in the New York delegation. Lives in Queens in Parker Tower with Lea, Roni and Michael (Uzi stayed in Israel in the army) 
1979
Moved back to Israel and settle in Ra’anana. Jehuda starts working in Motorola. 
1983
Move back to New York and join Group W a subsidiary of Westing House.  
1985 
Joins Atlantic,  a movie studio. When the company relocates to L.A. in 1987 he joins the L.I.I.R. (Long Island Railroad) 
1997
Retires from the Long Island Railroad. 
1990 – present
Active in various holocaust related organizations including restitution for Polish survivors and heirs and Queens Chapter of Holocaust Survivors, Holocaust Restitution Committee, Self Help and is also a Board Member of the Claims Conference and WJRO.
